Interior Minister Buchvarova Pays Working Visit to Berlin

Berlin, August 24 (BTA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Roumyana Buchvarova is on a working visit to Berlin, where she will confer with her German counterpart Thomas de Maiziere, as well as the Senator of the Interior and Sports of the German state of Berlin, Frank Henkel, Buchvarova's Ministry reported on Wednesday. The discussions will focus on illegal migration, the fight against terrorism, countering corruption and Schengen.

As part of her visit, Minister Buchvarova will become familiar with the work of the German Federal Police's strategic and analytical centre for countering illegal migration. On the agenda are also discussions in the fields of cybersecurity and European cooperation.
