Presidential Elections: Roumen Radev Leads with 25.43% of Polls after 100% of Ballots Counted

Sofia, November 8 (BTA) - Socialist-backed presidential candidate Roumen Radev and his running mate Iliyana Yotova lead with 25.43 per cent of the votes leaving behind the candidates of the ruling GERB party, Tsetska Tsacheva and Plamen Manoushev, with 21.96 per cent, after 100 per cent of the tally sheets were counted following the November 6 presidential elections in Bulgaria, Central Election Commission member and Spokesman Tsvetozar Tomov told BTA on Tuesday.

Following are the results of the other pairs who win over 5 per cent of the votes:

Krassimir Karakachanov and Yavor Noted (United Patriots) 14.96 per cent;
Vesselin Mareshki and Peter Petrov (nomination committee) 11.17 per cent;
Plamen Oresharski and Danail Papazov (nomination committee backed by Movement for Rights and Freedoms) 6.63 per cent;Traicho Traikov and Subi Subev (Reformist Bloc) 5.87 per cent.

Radev and Tsacheva are going to runoff elections on November 13.

The voter turnout for the presidential elections was 56.13 per cent.

The voter turnout for the national referendum held simultaneously with the elections was 50.59 per cent.
