President's Round of Political Consultations with Parties in Parliament Concludes

Sofia, November 24 (BTA) - President Rosen Plevneliev's round of political consultations with the parties in Parliament, which the head of State is conducting as part of the constitutional procedure following the Government's resignation, concludes. The next step is for Plevneliev to start handing the largest parties a mandate to form a government under the current Parliament.

Plevneliev once again said at the start of his meeting with representatives of ABV's parliamentary group, that he will do his best so that the 43rd National Assembly continues its work, which is also his firm conviction.

Among the topics Plevneliev discussed with the parliamentary groups are the possibility to have the current Parliament elect a new government, the possible dates or period for new parliamentary elections, as well as the pressing priorities on the agenda of the 43rd National Assembly.
