316 Million Leva Provided in Grant Aid in 99 Contracts

Sofia, November 25 (BTA) - In 2016 seven calls were announced for project proposals under the Science and Education for Smart Growth Operational Programme (OP), and 99 contracts on the provision of grant aid were concluded, worth 316 million leva, Education and Science Minister Meglena Kuneva said on Friday at a meeting of the OP's Monitoring Committee.

Nearly 25 per cent of the budget of the OP have been contracted as at the middle of the year, and 38 million leva were paid out to beneficiaries. LY/ZH
