Democrats for Strong Bulgaria Will Not Support Cabinet withinIncumbent Parliament

Varna, December 18 (BTA) - The MPs of Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) are ready to discuss with their colleagues from the Civil Board the possibility to leave together the parliamentary group of the Reformist Bloc (RB), DSB leader Radan Kanev said in Varna on Sunday.

Kanev explained that DSB will not support a new government within the incumbent National Assembly. He described the talks for forming a Cabinet as "trickery" and the conduct of the participants as unworthy. "Any arrangement for a government among GERB leader Boyko Borissov, [RB co-leaders] Meglena Kuneva and Bozhidar Lukarski and the nationalists distances us from the possibility to build a normal state," said Kanev.

Kanev said DSB hails former justice minister Hristo Ivanov's bid to enter politics. A commitment of active representatives of the civil society and different professional communities to the political life increases the chances to establish a broad alliance against corruption and poverty, he noted.
