Medical Association Insists on Equal Payment for Same Type of Exams by GPs, Specialists
Sofia, December 18 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA) insists on equal payment for one and the same type of examinations by general practitioners and specialists, the organization said.
The BMA will insist not to allow transfer of funds between medical referrals without the knowledge of the contractual partners. The organization recalls that a few days ago the National Health Insurance Fund paid 50 million leva for medicines but did not pay hospitals for reported and recognized medical activities.
BMA reiterated its stand against the fingerprint identifier, in particular, in pre-hospital care. The organization will withstand all these positions during the upcoming talks on the framework contract for 2017.
