Foreign Ministry Advises Bulgarians to Avoid Popular Tourist Sites in Jordan
Sofia, December 20 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry urged Bulgarians to avoid popular tourist sites during their travel to Jordan for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The travel advisory is issued In the wake of armed clashes between law enforcers and members of a terrorist cell in the the Jordanian town of Karak some 140 km south of Amman on December 18.
The Foreign Ministry said that Bulgarians' travel plans should keep away from Karak, Maan, Petra and Aqaba.
The Ministry warns that clashes are not to be excluded in other parts of the country as well.
