State Agency for National Security Revokes Sojourn Permit of  Yet Another Turkish National

Sofia, March 22 (BTA) - The State Agency for National Security (SANS) said in a press release Wednesday that it revoking the sojourn permit of yet another Turkish national seen as a threat to national security. It is claimed that the person fostered anti-Bulgarian attitudes in areas with mixed population and posed a threat to the unity of the nation. He was banned from entering Bulgaria for five years. The person has resided in Bulgaria for several years and had a permit for long-term residence as an employee of a Turkish government institutions.

Another Turkish national has been blacklisted as undesirable and a threat to the national security. While in Bulgaria, the person tried to obtain information constituting state secret according to the Bulgarian legislation. Data has been collected about acts by the person aimed against the unity of the nation and attempts to influence Bulgarian institutions to the benefit of the interest of another country.

Last week administrative measures were imposed against three other Turkish nationals for activities against the Bulgarian national security.
