Social Minister Endorses List of Eligible Beneficiaries of Food Donations

Sofia, March 24 (BTA) - Labour and Social Policy Minister Galab Donev has endorsed a list of entitled beneficiaries of food donations from food banks, said his Ministry. The list includes 14 groups of people, among them pensioners whose pensions are at and under the poverty line; lone seniors (over 65 years of age), people with 50 per cent and over of disability, families of disabled children and households which were entitled to heating allowances during the previous heating season.

The food donations will be distributed by day-care centres for children, youths and adults with disabilities, day-care centres for seniors, shelters and other social care establishments.
