European Council President Tusk to Pay Working Visit to Bulgaria on April 4

Sofia, March 29 (BTA) - At the invitation of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, European Council President Donald Tusk will pay a working visit to Bulgaria on April 4, the head of State's Press Secretariat said on Wednesday.

Tusk and Radev will tour the Trilateral Contact Centre for Police and Customs Cooperation at the Kapitan Andreevo Checkpoint (on Bulgaria's border with Turkey) and the border fence to the north of the border crossing.

The two will inspect by helicopter the installations along the border between Kapitan Andreevo and Lessovo, after which they will visit the Regional Coordination Centre at the Border Police Regional Directorate in Elhovo (Southeastern Bulgaria).

Later in the day, the Bulgarian President and the European Council President will hold a one-to-one session at the Administration of the President and will join Bulgarian and EU officials for plenary talks.
