Sofia Tells Bulgarian Citizens in St. Petersburg to Avoid All Public Transport

Sofia, April 4 (BTA) - Following the bomb attack in St. Petersburg Monday, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry urged all Bulgarian citizens there to avoid all kinds of public transport. It also advised them against visiting places where many people father, such as concerts, shopping centres, sport events and marketplaces, and to follow the instructions of the local authorities.

Foreign Minister Radi Naidenov sent a message of condolences to his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov saying that Bulgaria condemns all terrorist acts, which cause innocent victims and destruction. "I hope that the people behind this attack will be caught and brought to justice," Naidenov wrote offering his condolences for the victims and best wishes for fast recovery of the injured people.

A message of condolences was also sent by GERB leader Boyko Borissov to President Vladimir Putin.
