Warsaw/Sofia, June 3 (BTA) - Bulgarian Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Tsvetan Dimitrov took part in a meeting of agriculture ministers of the Visegrad Group plus of Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia held in Friday in Warsaw, the Bulgarian Agriculture and Food Ministry said in a press release.

The participants in the meeting signed a joint declaration about the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2020, stating that the preparation of the new CAP is to take into account the priorities and expectations of the seven countries. The declaration urges for a strong CAP with two pillars providing a level playing ground in the single market and promoting profitability and competitiveness of the EU farming sector. On the agenda of the meeting were also discussions about unfair trade practices, market mechanisms, and trade in farming properties.
