Brdo/Sofia, September 8 (BTA) - Deputy Minister of Interior Milko Berner is taking part in the Police Cooperation Convention for Southeast Europe which began on Thursday in Slovenia, the Interior Ministry said.

The forum, featuring the action plans in the five main areas of cooperation (protection of personal data, exchange of information, operational cooperation, anti-terrorism and automated data exchange mechanism. The participants also discussed exchange of DNA and motor vehicle registration data aimed at the signing of the draft agreement next year.

Discussions on the concept of home security in the Western Balkans continue.
