site.btaElectricity Traded during IBEX Day Ahead Auction Session Hits Absolute Record

January 2 (BTA) - The amount of electricity traded in the
last Day Ahead auction session of the Independent Bulgarian
Energy Exchange (IBEX) for 2019 set an absolute record, reaching
35,865.20 MWh for the delivery date 01.01.2020. The average
load is 1,494.4 MW, IBEX reported.

This is the highest daily amount traded since the go-live of the
Day Ahead market on January 19, 2016. In 2019, IBEX reported a
total of six records.

Later, the amounts of electricity traded at the Day Ahead auction session hit an all-time record, reaching 36,112.8 MWh for the delivery date 03.01.2020 (Friday), IBEX announced, adding that the average load is 1,504.7 MWh. RI/MT
