Conditions are good for hiking in the low part of the mountains, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.

In the higher parts it is cloudy and foggy. The mountain rescuers recommend that if walking in the higher parts, a well-researched route should be chosen, as well as reference should be made to the specific weather conditions.

Resort facilities are open.

There will be temporary cloud increases over the mountains, but only light rain will fall in isolated places, and light snow above 1,800 metres, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. Strong wind will blow from the west-northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be about 9C, at 2,000 meters - about 1C.
