site.btaBulgaria's Exports to EU Grew 3.4 Per Cent in January-October 2019, Y/Y

January 13 (BTA) - Bulgarian exports to the EU grew by
3.4 per cent in the January-October 2019 period in comparison
with the same period of 2018 and amounted to 32,681.1 million
leva, according to preliminary data released by the National
Statistical Institute on Monday. Bulgaria's main markets in the
bloc were Germany, Romania, Italy,Greece, France and Belgium,
which absorbed 66.2 per cent of the exports to EU Member States.

In the January-October 2019 period, Bulgarian imports from the
EU increased by 2.6 per cent compared to the same period of 2018
 and reached 34,112.7 million leva (at CIF prices. The largest
amounts of imports originated from Germany, Italy, Romania,
Greece and Spain.

Bulgaria's foreign trade balance with the EU (export FOB-import
CIF) in the January-October 2019 period was negative and added
up to 1,431.6 million leva. NV/LG
