Sofia, March 30 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 333,250 after 19,424 tests identified 4,497
new infections on Monday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
23.06 per cent.

A total of 2,078,028 coronavirus tests have been performed in
this country since the first infections were diagnosed on March
8, 2020.

Sofia City Region tops the list of new cases with 1,183 positive
 tests, followed by Plovdiv Region with 391 cases and Varna
Region with 264.

The active cases are 67,864. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 9,679, including 752 in intensive care.

The infected medical staff have reached 11,781, with 78 new
cases detected since Sunday.

Another 3,112 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 252 473.

Two hundred and three fatalities were reported, and the death
toll now adds up to 12,913.

With 9,006 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 445,547
persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the
coronavirus, of whom 90,327 have received both doses. NV/LG
