Sofia, March 31 (BTA) - The Confederation of Independent Trade
Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) will accept any governance model that
follows the sociopolitical and socioeconomic priorities and
goals determining Bulgaria's stability and prosperity, according
to a statement by the CITUB Executive Committee related to the
upcoming parliamentary elections, CITUB's press office said
Wednesday.

CITUB will require of the future power holders to develop and
implement targeted measures and actions, with CITUB's assistance
in priority areas, defined in the Confederation's memorandum on
Bulgaria' socioeconomic development in the 2021-2025 period.
These priority areas include economic recovery, sectoral
policies, green and digital transitions.

Furthermore, CITUB expects the implementation of specific
measures to guarantee a reasonable growth in work salaries, so
that the minimum monthly wage at the end of the term in office
can reach 1,200 leva, and the average can exceed 2,400 leva.

With regard to the reform in the tax system, CITUB demands the
introduction of an untaxable minimum that will stimulate
domestic demand and economic growth, as well as an overall
revision of the tax system.

CITUB also says it is necessary to preserve the macroeconomic
stability through the mechanism of the currency board until
Bulgaria joins the economic and currency unions.
