Dunarit Ordnance Plant May Continue to Export Produce until Final Ruling of Court - Minister

Sofia, March 19 (BTA) - Commenting the suspended license of
Dunarit ordnance plant to reporters on Wednesday, Economy
Minister Bozhidar Loukarski said that the plant may continue to
export its produce until a final ruling of the court.

The ammunitions maker and trader Dunarit had its license revoked
in early March after the competent authorities received a
classified report from the special services alerting them of
problems. The Administrative Court in Sofia ruled on the case,
halting the enforcement of the decision of the Interdepartmental
Council on Defence Industry and Security of Supplies on the
suspension of the company's licence.

Taking a question, Loukarski said that his Ministry is not a
party in the case with Dunarit's revoked license. Instead, such
a party is the Interdepartmental Council on Defence Industry and
Security of Supplies. The Council met on Wednesday and decided
not to appeal the court's ruling which halted the decision on
the revokal of the license. Thus, after the court stayed the
license revokal decision, the plant may continue to export its
produce, Loukarski said. However, this will be possible until
the court rules on the merit of the dispute whether or not the
decision of the Interdepartmental Council on Defence Industry
and Security of Supplies is correct.
