Bulgaria Sharply Condemns Massacre in Turkey's  Suruc

Sofia, July 21 (BTA) - Bulgaria sharply condemns Monday's massacre in the Turkish city of Suruc, the Foreign Ministry says in a statement to the media.

"Taking the lives of innocents cannot be a means of achieving any cause or ideal. This is an act of barbarism that proves the futility of unjustified violence serving the attainment of radical goals," reads the statement.

"Bulgaria takes a categorical stand against any attempts to destabilize the region by instigating fear and spreading the cause of terror.

"Bulgaria offers its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased and to the friendly Turkish people," the statement reads.
