Islamists Hack into MEP Angel Dzhambazki's Website

Sofia, September 7 (BTA) - The internet site of MEP Angel Dzhambazki (http://djambazki.org) came under hacking attack, with the hackers signing as "Islamic State" in English, the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (IMRO) said in a press release on Monday. There was also an inscription in Arabic against a black background, typical of the followers of the Islamic State, the party said. Dzhambazki is Deputy Chairman of IMRO.

The hackers gave the electronic address isis_cyberarmy@mail.ru, apparently referring to a "cyberarmy" of the Islamic State. The email server is Russian, but it is accessible to web users all over the world. Finally, the hackers wrote: "To be continued..."

IMRO noted that Dzhambazki is known for his frequent criticisms of the Islamic State. He has repeatedly taken the floor in the European Parliament to warn of the huge threat which the Islamic State poses to Europe and the whole world.

Dzhambazki's own brief comment on the hacking attack was: "This is a war." IMRO recalled that a few days ago the politician reported that a car bearing Bulgarian number plates carried Islamic State insignia, and that Islamic State supporters in Ihtiman, Sofia Region, were posting propaganda photos on the internet.
