Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte: "Let Us Direct Our Love to the Hungry, the Thirsty and Those Who Have Lost Their Faith"

Sofia, December 25 (BTA) - In his Christmas address during a Holy Liturgy at the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia on Christmas Day, Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte said that in the hard times that the world continues to live people should direct their love to the hungry, the thirsty and the strangers, to those who have lost faith and hope.

In their Christmas address the Patriarch and the Metropolitans of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church send greetings and blessings to all Bulgarians in their motherland and beyond, wishing them peace and love.

In an address released by his press secretariat President Rosen Plevneliev calls on people to be united and to believe in the good which every persons carries. "Let believe ourselves that we can be even better in out thoughts and deeds and give more to our neighbours. Let us think of those who do not have a home or who are far away from theirs. Let us remember our forefathers and encourage our heirs, because it is thanks to our ancestors that we live and dedicate ourselves to the future of the next generations," Plevneliev says in the address.
