Sofia, June 8 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on Wednesday met with Frank Schwabe and Zsolt Nemeth, PACE co-rapporteurs for post-monitoring dialogue with Bulgaria. The two are on a fact-finding mission here.

During the meeting Prime Minister Borissov assured the co-rapporteurs that Bulgaria will continue its fruitful cooperation with PACE to wrap up the post-monitoring dialogue. Borissov voiced expectation for a constructive and objective assessment of the efforts of the Bulgarian authorities and the undertaken reforms. He familiarized PACE's representatives with undertaken measures and reforms in combatting corruption and reforms in the judicial system and said that Bulgaria will continue to put extra effort in the identified areas even when they are not monitored.

Borissov recalled that days earlier Bulgaria wrapped up its chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, which received good marks from Bulgaria's partners. Borissov said that under the Bulgarian chairmanship one of the three priorities was protection of the media from outside influence.
