Health Minister Moskov Signs 2-Year Agreements with WHO Europe Office

Sofia, June 22 (BTA) - Health Minister Peter Moskov on Wednesday signed a two-year cooperation agreement with the Europe regional office of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the 2016-2017 period.

On behalf of WHO the agreement was signed by Zsuzsanna Jakab, WHO Regional Director for Europe.

Under the agreement nearly 250,000 US dollars will be made available for the treatment of AIDS, tuberculosis, psychiatric health, reproductive health, and areas such as national health policies, health services, access to medicines and health technologies and enhancing regulatory capacity.
