Atlantic Club Bulgaria Delegation Visits Swaziland

Mbabane, August 12 (BTA) - His Majesty King Mswati III of Swaziland Thursday received a six-member delegation of Atlantic Club Bulgaria, the first bilateral meeting at such a level, former foreign minister and Atlantic Club President Solomon Passy told BTA.
 
The sides discussed the disastrous for Africa and Swaziland drought, the potential of the mining industry and the capacity of the UN, UNESCO, EU and Bulgaria to participate in the development of the region. Swaziland promised active support for UNESCO Secretary General Irina Bokova's nomination for UN Secretary General. King Mswati III is well acquainted with Bulgaria's monarch Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and is keenly interested in Bulgaria, the press release said.
   
The delegation presented the king with Bulgarian rose oil and invited him to attend the Rose Festival in Bulgaria in May 2017. The invitation was accepted.
