Deadline for Reviewing Insurer Balance Sheets and Pension Fund Assets Extended until End-January

Sofia, December 27 (BTA) - The managing committee has extended until the end of January the deadline for reviewing the balance sheets of insurers and reinsurers and the assets of pension funds. The results of the individual companies will be ready by the year's end, as planned, the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) said on Tuesday.

Concerning the performance review at the group level, which includes information about connected insurance companies in other countries, the managing committee has found it advisable to extend the deadline until January 23. The results of the stress test of the Bulgarian insurance sector until February 3 will be unveiled along with the review findings, the FSC said.
