site.bta13th Edition of World Meeting of Bulgarian Media to Be Held in Moldova in October

Sofia, August 7 (BTA) - The 13th edition of the World Meeting of Bulgarian Media will be held in Moldova October 4-8, BTA Director General Maxim Minchev told  the press Monday. BTA organizes the forum jointly with the Association of  Bulgarian media outlets across the world.

The venue of the new edition of the forum was picked on account of the fact that   Moldova and Bessarabia is home to the largest and most compact community of    ethnic Bulgarians, Minchev explained. "In the past 20-25 years, Bulgaria started    to turn towards our compatriots there. Much of their problems are now on    Bulgaria's agenda but more problems remain to be solved," said Minchev.   
   
In the focus of discussions this year will be new education platforms, a linkup between business and education, knowledge-based economy, tourism, transfer of  labour and technologies and the specific problems of the Bulgarian diaspora.
