Seattle Community Reading Room prepares a Mobile Library that will be presented during a traditional picnic organized by the Seattle Bulgarian Cultural and Heritage Centre on May 19 at Lake Sammamish State Park, the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Seattle Elka Rouskov told BTA. She noted that this is one of the largest gatherings of the Bulgarian community in the city, which is organized by the Culture and Heritage Centre, of which she and Ivan Tashev are co-presidents.

The picnic is on the occasion of the Day of Slavonic Literature and Bulgarian Education and Culture and will start at 10 am local time.

The Mobile Library will be launched at 3 pm local time. There will be an opportunity to pick up and return books during the event, the Seattle Reading Room said on Facebook, adding that they are calling for book swaps and accepting new donations. They also extended their thanks to Elka Rouskov and the Bulgarian Cultural and Heritage Centre in Seattle.
