The Cultural Information Centre Bosilegrad in cooperation with the Bulgarian Consul General in Nis Dimitar Tsanev and the Head of the Military Medical Academy Prof. Ventsislav Mutafchiiski have assisted  over 30 citizens of Bosilegrad of Bulgarian origin to receive treatment since the beginning of the year.

Those in need submit an application at the beginning of each week at the Centre n Bosilegrad, which is urgently forwarded to the Consulate General in Nis and after forwarding the application to the MMA, a confirmatory reply is usually received. Persons in need of urgent medical assistance are then admitted the same week on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday possibly for examination and treatment.

Examinations, diagnostics and expensive medical interventions are, with some exceptions, free of charge for Bulgarians in the Western outlands.

The Bosilegrad Cultural and Information Centre reports that patients from Bosilegrad are extremely satisfied with the professional and friendly attitude of the medical staff.
