Four people were killed and 14 wounded in a Russian missile attack on Odesa Province in Southern Ukraine on the evening of April 10, Regional Governor Oleh Kiper wrote on the Telegram messaging app.
A 10-year-old girl was among those who lost their life. Four of the wounded people were reported in serious condition. The wounded include a four-year-old girl.
Odesa Province was hit by ballistic missiles, probably Iskander-M, between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The attack inflicted damage on transport infrastructure, Kiper said. All competent services joined the on-site recovery effort.
There are over 150,000 Bulgarians in Odesa Province. Between 50,000 and 60,000 of them live in the provincial capital Odesa. The largest compact groups of Bulgarians outside the city of Odesa are in the towns of Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
