site.btaAll-Ukrainian Wrestling Tournament Takes Place in Bessarabia

A traditional all-Ukrainian freestyle wrestling tournament for young people took place in the Bulgarian village of Zorya in the Sarata Municipality of Odesa region. The tournament was held for the 13th time and was dedicated to the associate of sports in Zorya, Ivan Boev.

A total of 180 boys and girls from 22 teams took part in the two-day sports competition. Participants from Odesa region competed in twenty weight categories.

The winners, among whom many were of Bulgarian origin, were awarded certificates and gifts. All teams received statuettes and cash prizes.

The competition was organized with the financial support of the local agriculture enterprise Druzhba.
