site.btaGERB Leader: I Can Talk with Any Party that Would Support GERB-UDF's Governing Programme

GERB leader Boyko Borissov said here on Tuesday that he is ready for talks with any party that can support his coalition's [GERB-UDF] governing programme. 

GERB-UDF's programme stipulates that incomes should reach 75-80% of Europe's purchasing power by the end of the government term. Borissov said that this is an achievable goal, "if we finally start thinking about the State". He added that he is no longer willing to support reforms proposed by others. He called for parties to unite for growth and prosperity after the June 9 parliamentary elections.

He said that Europe will be very different after the elections for EU Parliament, depending on the way the Green Deal develops. Borissov noted the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, which is why Bulgaria should not be left with no guaranteeing capacities. He added that Bulgaria has lost billions under the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
