Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader Korneliya Ninova said here on Sunday that children under 15 should receive free medication, the BSP press service reported.

Ninova stated that while all politicians talk about the demographic crisis, the BSP was the only party to actually do something to help young people, children and families. She said: "Thanks to the BSP, we provided free kindergartens and nurseries, one-time help when starting school, free textbooks. Maternity benefits for the second year were increased. Working young people who pay social security contributions and have children pay lower taxes."

She said that another bill her party will try to pass would have people under 27 be exempt from taxes.
