site.btaSeven Arrested in Belgium on Suspicions of Preparing Terror Attack in France During Paris Games

Seven people have been detained in Belgium on suspicion of preparing an attack in France during the Paris Games which begin tomorrow, local media reported. 

According to the Belgian prosecution service, police raided locations across Belgium to prevent actions of suspected members of a terrorist group. The court is yet to determine the pre-trial detention measures for the detainees.

It is not clear what may have been the targets of attacks.

In 2015, terrorist attacks were carried out in France by a group consisting mainly of members from Belgium.
