Three patients injured in the March 16 fire in a disco in Kocani, North Macedonia, have been discharged after treatment in Bulgarian hospitals. The St George University Hospital of Plovdiv and the General Hospital for Active Treatment of Varna had hospitalized three patients each after the incident.

One of the patients in Plovdiv was discharged on Thursday. The other two were moved out of intensive care in a stable condition.

Two patients were discharged from the hospital in Varna a few days ago. The third one is still being treated.

Earlier in April, the Pirogov Emergency Hospital in Sofia discharged four patients injured in the Kocani tragedy. Four others remain in Pirogov. A  15-year-old girl, the sister of one of those injured, was discharged from that hospital after a short treatment.

A total of 15 patients were brought to Bulgaria for treatment.
