Bulgaria's Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva secured silver medals in the women's doubles at the prestigious BWF World Tour Super 300 badminton tournament in Mülheim, Germany, with a prize pool of USD 240,000.

The top-seeded Bulgarian sisters, who finished fifth at the Paris 2024 Olympics, lost a hard-fought final against Japan's Mizuki Otake and Miyu Takahashi (17-21, 22-20, 12-21) after 76 minutes on court.

This was the Stoevi sisters' second final so far in 2025, following their title win last month at the Iran Fajr International Challenge in Semnan.
