Sevda Asenova and Zlatislava Chukanova won the women's 48 kg and 50 kg titles, respectively, in the 76th Strandja International Boxing Tournament in Sofia on Sunday. Venelina Poptoleva snagged the silver in the 52 kg category.

Chukanova was named Best Boxer and won the Strandja Cup 2025. Asenova is Best Boxer First Runner-up and Kosovo's Donjeta Sadiku, who won the title in the Women's 60kg, is Best Boxer Second Runner-up.

Chukanova defeated France's Romane Moulai with 4-1 votes (30-27, 28-29, 29-28, 29-28, 29- 28), snagging her first-ever gold medal from Stranja Cup.

Asenova defeated Aigerim Sattibayeva from Kazakhstan with the judges' unanimous vote (30-27, 30-27, 30-27, 30-27, 30-27). This was Asenova's last participation in Europe's oldest boxing tournament.

Asenova and Chukanova received their medals from Youth and Sports Minister Ivan Peshev. He was joined at the podium by Bulgarian Boxing Federation President Krasimir Ininski.

In the 52 kg finals, Poptoleva lost to France's Rim Bennama by unanimous vote.
