site.btaBulgarian Athletes Win Seven Medals at Diving Tournament in the Netherlands

Bulgarian divers claimed seven medals at the first international competition of the year on the calendar of the swimming federation, held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on Sunday.

Tsvetomir Ereminov secured first place in the men's platform event with 354.15 points. Alongside his sister and Bulgaria's top diver for 2024, Iva Ereminova, he finished second in the mixed 3m synchronized event.

Ereminova earned two silver medals in the 1m and 3m springboard events in the girls' senior category, meeting the qualification standards for the European Championship in June in Athens, Greece.

Kris Yordanov won three gold medals in the 1m, 3m springboard, and platform diving events in the boys' junior category.

In the boys' senior category, Toma Kaymakanov placed 17th in the 3m springboard and 14th in the 1m springboard event.

The Bulgarian team is coached by Vitosha club president Georgi Chobanov.
