Conditions are good for mountain hiking on Thursday, the Bulgarian Red Cross' Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) told BTA.

The weather is sunny, clear, quiet. The MRS reminds tourists they should take into account that the day is short and that it is winter. In the high parts there is snow cover everywhere, and it is possible that ice has formed in more shadowy places. 

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny. Light to moderate wind will blow from the west-northwest, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. Highs of around 9C at an altitude of 1,200 metres and 3C at 2,000 metres above sea level.
