Bulgarian athletes have won eight titles at the European Kickboxing Championships in Athens, Greece. This country concluded its participation in the tournament with a total of 24 medals: eight gold, ten silver, and six bronze.

Ivan Krastanov claimed his second European title in Athens, winning another gold in the men’s 79 kg light contact event. The WAKO Federation named him Best Male Competitor on the Tatami.

Katrin Gemkova also took two golds, triumphing in the women’s 65 kg light contact event and the 65 kg kicklight contact final.

Kiril Iliev emerged as the European champion in the 57 kg kicklight contact final. He also secured a silver medal in the 57 kg light contact final.

The silver medals went to Anelia Todorova in the 55 kg kick contact final and Tsvetan Markov in the 63 kg light contact final.

In the women's team event, Kristina Nikolova, Alexandra Georgieva, Kristina Andonova, and Kalina Koleva claimed bronze.

Bulgaria was represented by 33 athletes. The delegation, which included 52 people, was led by Bulgarian Confederation of Kickboxing and Muay Thai President Galin Dimov.
