Olympic karate champion Ivet Goranova won a gold medal at her first tournament for 2024 in the German city of Nuremberg.
Goranova competed in the karate kumite 61-kg category against 18 athletes. She won six victories on her way to the title and in the final on Sunday defeated Nermyn Hassine.
