No Reports Received of Bulgarians Injured in Vehicular Accident in Munich

The Consulate General of Bulgaria in Munich has not received any reports of Bulgarian citizens injured in the accident that took place on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BTA later during the day. The report came after German media said that a car had crashed into a group of pedestrians.

The Consulate General is monitoring the situation and is ready to provide assistance if necessary. The accident, in which at least 20 people have been injured according to initial reports, took place against the backdrop of the Munich Security Conference scheduled for Friday, which will be attended by US Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
