site.btaOdesa Under Drone Attack, Mayor Urges Residents to Take Cover

Odesa is currently under attack by four drones, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov and local Telegram channels reported on Thursday.

"Residents from all areas of Odesa should take cover as the city is under drone attack," Trukhanov wrote in a message on the Telegram app.

Air raid sirens were activated at 22:31.

Odesa Region is home to the third-largest community of expatriate Bulgarians, with more than 150,000 people, according to Ukraine’s 2001 population census. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the regional capital, Odesa, while others are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
