The weather in the mountains is not good for tourism, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) informed BTA. In the higher parts it is foggy, with rain and snowfall. The situation is better in the lower parts, the mountain rescuers added.

The facilities at the resorts are working, and there are good conditions for skiing. In the last 24 hours, there have been no incidents with tourists, the MRS also reported.

In mountains on Tuesday it will be mostly cloudy with snowfall, rainfall below 1,200-1,300 metres, with light to moderate, strong westerly wind, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. After noon, the clouds will begin to disperse. The highs at 1,200 metres will be about 5C, about )c at 2000 metres.
