site.btaOver 600 to Participate in World Championships Showdance in Varna

Over 600 competitors will take part in the World Championships Showdance in Varna, held under the auspices of the International Workers and Amateurs in Sports Confederation (CSIT), which is a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Bulgarian Dance Sport Club Federation (BDSCF) told BTA on Thursday. The competition will be held on November 11 and 12 at the Palace of Culture and Sports.

The world championship will for the first time select the world champions in the four highest categories, namely adult and senior masters (classic and South American dance shows).

On the Bulgarian side, the organiser of the World Championships is BDSCF with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Alongside the World Championships, the Varna Open 2023 International Tournament will take place for all other categories. The organizer of the competition is Varna Sport Dance Club with the support of BDSCF and Varna Municipality.

Both competitions will be held in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Sports. There are already over 600 registered competitors, including world champions and vice-champions, as well as gold medalists and finalists from World Games, prizewinners from World and European Championships in various categories.
