site.btaSocial Security Institutions of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan Discuss Challenges Linked to New Technologies

The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) of Bulgaria and the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of Azerbaijan discussed key issues related to current challenges facing the social security systems of both countries, including in the context of the rapid development of new technologies, the NSSI press office reported on Tuesday.

A delegation from the SSPF was on an official visit to Bulgaria. The two institutions signed an Action Plan for the implementation of the existing Memorandum of Understanding for 2025–2026. 

Among the topics discussed were the enforcement of social security legislation and the effectiveness of measures to combat social security fraud.
