site.btaCode Yellow Alert Issued for Hot Weather in 14 Regions on Saturday, Truck Traffic Restrictions in Effect

The National Institute of Meteorolgy and Hydrology has issued a code yellow alert for hot weather in 14 regions of Bulgaria on Saturday. The highs there will vary between 35C and 37C.

The 14 regions are: Blagoevgrad, Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Vratsa, Kyustendil, Kardzhali, Lovech, Montana, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Ruse, Stara Zagora, and Haskovo.

The traffic of trucks heavier than 20 tonnes will be restricted on the I-7 road linking Silistra and Shoumen within Silistra Region from 1 to 9 pm on Saturday due to the expected highs of over 35C, the Road Infrastructure Agency said.
