site.btaState Fund Agriculture Pays Nearly BGN 10 Mln De Minimis Aid for Growers of Potatoes, Nuts, Mushrooms

The State Fund Agriculture (SFA) paid BGN 9,862,668 in de minimis aid for farmers growing potatoes, nuts (walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts) and cultivated mushrooms, the Fund said. Aid was granted to 1,832 producers. 

The approved budget for de minimis aid is up to BGN 13 million, with the amount distributed as follows: for potatoes - up to BGN 7,000,000; for nuts - up to BGN 5,000,000; for cultivated mushrooms - up to BGN 1,000,000.

The remaining aid applicants will be paid after further administrative checks, the Fund said.

The maximum amount of de minimis aid for one farmer or the same enterprise cannot exceed BGN 48,895.75 for a period of three consecutive budget years (2022 - 2024).
