site.btaPlatform to Be Set in Place to Aid Administrative Bodies as They Adjust to Work with Euro

A platform to automate the planning, progress reporting, communication, monitoring and control processes of administrative authorities in relation to the adaptation of their information systems to work with the euro will be in place by September 1, 2024. This was decided by the Cabinet at its weekly meeting Wednesday. The decision is in line with the adopted National Plan for the euro changeover in the Republic of Bulgaria, in which the Ministry of Electronic Governance is designated as the responsible institution for the development and maintenance of the platform.

The decision also sets deadlines for the submission of plans for adaptation to work with euro by the administrations. By the end of March 2025, the administrative bodies are required to have their information systems fully verified.
