site.btaNational Tourism Board to Hold Discussion on Bulgarian Tourist Brand Jan. 30

A discussion entitled "Brand Bulgaria 2024: The modern narrative of culture and tourism. Our country's image in national and international communication" will take place here on January 30, the National Board of Tourism (NBT) reported. The event will be co-organized by the NBT, Association Cultural Heritage Society and Standart News in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture and the Bulgarian Industrial Association.

Minister of Tourism Zaritsa Dinkova and Minister of Culture Krastyu Krastev have been invited to take part in the discussion. Representatives of the legislative and local authorities, academia, NGOs and the media will participate in the forum.

The aim of the discussion is to outline the Tourism Ministry's plan for the development of year-round cultural and historical tourism, as well as other gaining popularity tourism: spa and wellness, wine, culinary, adventure, congress. The Forum will present the vision of the Ministry of Culture to turn cultural heritage into a base for cultural and historical tourism.

Apart from creating a new and impressive image of Bulgaria to the world, Brand Bulgaria is a basis for the development of the country's regions and for overcoming the social and economic inequalities between them, the organizers said.
